Marine Construction

Join the crew at Fuller Marine Services! We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Marine Construction Team Memeber to assist in the installation and maintenance of docks, floats, and pilings throughout the mid-coast region. This is a hands-on, year-round position for someone who enjoys working on the water and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. The position and pay scale are based on skill and expereince. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in any or all of the construction skill sets - carpentry, welding, or general construction is a major plus.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions (Maine coastal winters are no joke!).
  • Strong team player who can follow directions or lead the crew while always  prioritize safety.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical Requirement: Ability to lift 70+ lbs and maintain balance on moving vessels or floats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Construction: Assist with pile driving, dock framing, and decking installation, logistics, formwork, concrete work and general carpentery.
  • Materials Handling: Load/unload construction materials and operate power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers) safely. 
  • Site Prep: Clean and prepare waterfront construction sites, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep on tools and help maintain the yard and shop, our vessles, machies and trucks.

Details:

  •  Hourly Wage, with potential for additional overtime hours.  
  • Pay range starts at $35.00
  • 4 day work week, with overtime as an option.
